The principle of equal opportunities
It is at the heart of this initiative, allowing all participants to compete on an equal footing. Thus, each producer will be able to showcase their work and expertise.
The Academy relies on respect and trust to establish itself as a key player in the market. We are committed to maintaining a fair model for producers, while ensuring optimal visibility.
It is by being aware of the high costs of wine competitions and the pressure that results from them, that we decided to adopt a model focused on the promotion of winners rather than on the number of entries.
A model focused on the Laureates
The Concours National de Paris and the Paris International Trophy are included on the list established by the Ministry responsible for consumption and published in the official bulletin on competition, consumption and the repression of fraud.
As such, they comply with the provisions set out in the decree of 13 February 2013 establishing the rules that wine competitions must comply with in order to award distinctions and medals that may appear on the labelling of wines sold in France.
We impose the same seriousness and rigor on registrations in the beer and alcohol categories.
